Deep in Demetrescu’s Manor hides a young sorceress with an affinity for necromancy. Born a distant descendant from dragons, her magic is manifested through dizzying sparks and captivating embers. Though she has always been surrounded by creatures varyingly familiar with magic—both light and dark—the young witch’s strong bond with realms beyond the tangible and living have always frightened even the most experienced practitioners around her, leading to almost continuous observation and suppression of her powers. Naturally, her curiosity remained insuppressible, and she made frequent attempts to slip away from the elder’s thorough grasp. In a rare moment of success and subsequent quiet, the sorceress stumbled upon the ancient mausoleum, closely connected to the Manor through an intricate system of underground tunnels and caverns. As she cast her spells, the cold chamber livened up to mirror the witch’s fiery spirit. In this moment the young necromancer realized that her elders, despite their endless and undeniable wisdom, had been wrong.
Her powers have never been the root of death and despair. For as long as the caster’s spirit remains bright, the powers through which their magic is channeled will be composers of everlasting beauty and life. ✨

The Evergarden is a virtual project that aims to explore various realms of styles in Second Life. To further this exploration, the blog has been split into various ‘regions’ or categories, each linked to a certain aesthetic. Scenes, characters, and posts made in The Evergarden either reside in 1 of its locations, or travel between multiple categories.
For an overview of The Evergarden’s regions, please refer to the home page. The Garden currently consists out of five regions, but new territories may unlock as the project continues.
Today’s premier post centers around a happy little tea party, held at the Sugarplum Festival, featuring some older sets by Cherry house, Zerkalo, and DISORDERLY, as well as some smaller items from Raindale. Tea will be served with a range of confectionaries at 4 P.M. I hope to see you there~ ♡
I have created The Evergarden with the hope that it can provide a virtual space for the expression of my diverse and ever-developing style. For most of my life, I have been on rigorous quest to find a clear-cut aesthetic that I identified with. In more recent years, however, I realized that throughout this quest I have gained an interest in all types of styles. Above all, I realized that my time on this floating rock in space (as one of my dearest friends always says) is far too short to be worried about finding which box I fit in. Rather, I wish to dedicate my time to the pursuit of a wider range of interests, even if this implies that I can’t perfect each element of my style (agonizing news for a perfectionist such as myself, indeed).
Be that as it may, I furthermore hope that this blog can become a cozy little haven for my fellow Second Life residents, to read up on new releases, my latest thoughts, or whatever else I decide to write about.
The Evergarden’s writing has no specified direction or format. The posts published here may be accompanied by a short, written review on displayed items or location; a personal musing; or just a brief overview of the items used in the post. The reason for this flexibility is in part a simple truth that many bloggers are sure to live by: blogging has to remain fun.
Ultimately, that is the key ingredient in the production of pixie dust (the energy source that ought to power the Garden up and keep it running): lots and lots of doses of fun! ♡
